Pool Design: Luxe Appeal – A Stylish Sanctuary

Simply stunning this Natural Pools project lies at the heart of an extensively renovated Toorak property. Akin to a private luxury resort, the U-shaped home surrounds a private courtyard, with the pool as its show-stopping centrepiece.

The owners of the home wanted a pool that could be used for relaxation and entertaining, while providing aesthetic appeal. Natural Pools took a consultative approach to the design, working closely with the homeowners to achieve the outstanding results.

A simple but effective design, the pool boasts a water feature, as well as entry steps that span the entire width of the pool and double as bench seating. The clean, sleek lines of the pool are highlighted by an elegant white tile interior, brought to life by Spa Electrics underwater LED lighting.

Gas heating allows the pool to be enjoyed in any season, while the energy-efficient pool pump is set to run in off-peak time to reduce energy bills.

The U-shaped design of the home and the selection of frameless glass fencing allow the pool to be viewed from all rooms of the home, width floor-to-ceiling glass doors creating a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces.

The selection of travertine flooring throughout the home has been continued into the outdoor space, with travertine surrounding the pool and thereby integrating the courtyard with the home.

Soft landscaping designed by Paul Bangay provides the finishing touch to complete this incredible space.
